Advanced Media Broadcasting System, or AMBS, is a broadcast media company owned by Prime Asset Ventures and supported by the Villar Group through Planet Cable. AMBS Philippines was awarded a 25-year extension of its legislative franchise in 2019 through the Republic Act 11253.
On January 5 this year, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) granted AMBS Philippines a provisional license to operate the analog Channel 2 frequency under a temporary assignment for simulcast purposes, and for the digital Channel 16, the frequency was previously assigned to ABS-CBN Corporation.
AMBS Philippines started its test broadcast in June 2022. Initially planned for October 1, ALLTV entered the Philippine broadcast industry last September 13, 2022, with a star-studded AMBS artist program that offers entertainment and prizes to viewers.
According to Willie Revillame, who announced at the soft launch on AMBS shows, the plan of expanding it nationwide by the end of the year or even earlier. Revillame also revealed that one of the AMBS shows to watch is his popular variety show, Wowowin, which is scheduled to return on ALLTV after its final broadcast on the GMA Network on February 11, 2022. ALLTV provides a fresh TV experience with interesting entertainment, timely news, and a star-studded AMBS artist lineup. One of the AMBS channel two shows is Toni Gonzaga's talk show, which will feature the current President Marcos' exclusive one-on-one interview in the pilot episode. Toni's film director, scriptwriter, and producer husband, Paul Soriano, has also signed a contract with AMBS of the Villar Group on September 1, 2022.
Manuel Paolo Villar of Prime Asset Ventures extended a hearty welcome to Gonzaga and Soriano on the Villar-owned TV network and reaffirmed his commitment to giving Filipinos a superior viewing experience through the AMBS channel two shows.
The goal of AMBS, according to Villar, is to "redefine the broadcast media industry with quality TV programs and exciting entertainment shows that will focus on giving our viewers new TV experiences." Toni Gonzaga said that the audience can anticipate a more in-depth but still engaging talk show from her production, and they will undoubtedly be surprised by what she has in store for them all.
At a ceremony held on Thursday night at the Mella Hotel in Las Pinas, AMBS President Maribeth Tolentino signed the contract with leading showbiz personalities.
Along with Revillame, Gonzaga, and Soriano, contract stars of the new TV network include Ciara Sotto, a theater, television, and radio actress; Anthony Taberna, a broadcast journalist and radio commentator; and Mariel Rodriguez, a TV host.
"ALLTV is for the Filipino viewers. Gusto natin masaya lahat ng viewers natin. Saya All. We have prepared an exciting and breathtaking show for all of you," said Maribeth Tolentino, President of the AMBS. In celebration of Revillame's return to national television, ALLTV is giving away two Bria and Lumina units. In addition to cash and huge prizes that will be given away to lucky tv viewers every hour, there will be a variety of spectacular dance performances and song numbers to add to the fun and entertainment.
Furthermore, ALLTV and CNN Philippines struck a content license agreement for news content.
ALLTV is broadcast on Channel 2 on free TV and Planet Cable, Channel 35 on Cignal TV and Sky Cable, Channel 32 on GSAT, Channel 23 on Cablelink, and Channel 2 on other cable TV providers.
